Moira Forjaz was born in Southern Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) in 1942. She studied Graphic Arts at the Johannesburg School of Arts and Design and subsequently worked as a photojournalist in southern Africa. From 1975 onwards she worked as a photographer and documentary film maker in Mozambique. Includes essays by Gillian Slovo, Oscar Monteiro, Albie Sachs, Luis Bernardo Homwana & Hillary Hamburger
