Karen Jeynes is a writer for stage and screen, known for ZANews: Puppet Nation. She has worked as a fact checker and researcher in the fields of health, parenting, education, disability and migrancy. She is co-author of the satirical self-help book The Karen Book of Rules (with Karin Schimke).

Journalist, media lecturer and trainer Pontsho Pilane helps social justice organisations create impactful campaigns, media training workshops and communication strategies.

Dr Ilana Johnson has worked at Mowbray Maternity Hospital and Tygerberg Hospital where she completed her training and became a Fellow of the College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Writer and researcher Tariq Hoosen is the author of the novel Call It a Difficult Night.
