Elsabe Coetsee established the Mogalakwena Craft Art Development Foundation in 1994, the Mogalakwena Craft Art Village in 2004, and the Mogalakwena Craft Art Gallery in Cape Town in 2008. Her first book, "Craft Art in South Africa", published in 2002, is now out of print.
