Peter Venison worked for South African business tycoon Sol Kerzner in various capacities between 1971 and 2001, in South Africa, the USA and the Bahamas. In later years they found themselves on opposite sides in various trade-related legal disputes after an acrimonious breakup.

Peter Venison, now retired, began his career as a desk clerk in London. He later joined Sol Kerzner’s Southern Sun in South Africa and worked closely with him on iconic projects like The Palace of the Lost City and Atlantis, Bahamas. He has consulted on global assignments and is the author of eight books. He lives in Surrey, UK.
