A reprint of South African historian David Rattray's authoritative and well-illustrated guidebook to the battlefields of the Anglo-Zulu War of 1879.
David Rattray's lecture tours to the Anglo-Zulu War battlefields were well-known in both South Africa and England. David Rattray was murdered on his farm in KwaZulu-Natal in 2007. Fugitives Drift Lodge, which he established with his wife, remains the preferred destination for visitors to the battlefields.
