Ming-Cheau Lin came to South Africa in the early 1990s when she was three years old and grew up in Bloemfontein. She now lives in Cape Town, where she works as a freelance copywriter and writes a Taiwanese-inspired food blog. She is the author of Yellow and Confused, born in Taiwan, raised in South Africa, and making sense of it all (2019).
