In 2019 Rubee Samuel travelled to Lagos to teach photography at two primary schools. She introduced the children to the work of West African photographers and to the ideas behind fashion stories.

Her book includes the fashion stories created, styled and shot by the children, as well as her portraits of the children.

Rubee Samuel is a Nigerian photographer based in London. She is co-founder of the independent publishing house, TwentyfourThirtysix Ltd, dedicated to publishing books by visual artists from the subtropics and tropics.
