South-South is an ongoing project initiated by Liza Essers and the Goodman Gallery, and presents work by artists in Africa and South America.

This exhibition includes work by Kudzanai Chiurai, Kendell Geers, David Goldblatt, William Kentridge, Moshekwa Langa, Mikhael Subotzky and Patrick Waterhouse and Jeremy Wafer.

Includes an edited transcription of a Skype conversation between the exhibition's curators on three separate continents 25 days before the exhibition began. Also includes the essay, "A Heteronymous Reader, editorial preface/ O Leitor Heterônimo, prefácio editorial" by Clare Butcher and Carolyn H Drake, which discusses "a variety of subjects from different perspEctives on shared issues present in both South Africa and Brazil, but more broadly in the geopolitical south" from pg.8
