Advocate Andrew Brown is the author of the novels Inyenzi, Coldsleep Lullaby (Sunday Times Fiction Prize), Refuge, Solace and Devil’s Harvest, as well as the memoirs Street Blues and Good Cop, Bad Cop, confessions a reluctant policeman, on his experiences as a police reservist. He lives in Cape Town, where he is also a sergeant in the SAPS reserves and police liaison officer at Red Cross Children's Hospital.
