Orania, a white separatist town in the Northern Cape Province, was founded by a group of Afrikaners in an effort to preserve their identity, language and culture. Orania currently has over 3000 inhabitants.

Political economist Jannie Rossouw is an honorary professor at Wits Business School and serves on the board of Finbond Mutual Bank. He is the author of Inflation is Ungood, and other sexual truths, and lives in Pretoria.
