Grootbos is a private eco-reserve for fynbos conservation between Stanford and Gansbaai in the Western Cape. Entrepreneur Michael Lutzeyer bought the small farm in 1991. He was awarded the Flora Conservation Award by the Botanical Society in 2008.

Features artworks of 120 fynbos plants found on the reserve, together with their pollinator, herbivore or seed dispersing partners, by 44 botanical artists from South Africa and abroad.
