Adam Kethro was born in Zululand. He spent 25 years building, running and growing his company, Bridge Shipping, now the biggest logistics company in Southern Africa. He then began his second career as a beef cattle farmer, importer of agricultural equipment and racehorse trainer in the Natal Midlands. Now retired, he lives in Cape Town. Pleasures of the Harbour is his first novel.
