South African sculptor Bruce Murray Arnott (1938-2018) was born in KwaZulu-Natal. He was Assistant Director at the South African National Gallery and Professor of Fine Art, Director of the Michaelis School of Fine Art, and a University Life Fellow and Emeritus Professor, University of Cape Town.
