This art project, initiated in celebration of Albrecht Dürer's 1515 engraving of a rhinoceros, "Ganda, the Rhino brought from India", brings together 40 artists from 3 continents, as well as experts in the fields of history and science, around the aesthetic, historic and diplomatic significance of the rhinoceros GANDA, a gift to King Manuel I of Portugal.

"Mutant Rhinos, Fragments Variables" by Helena Kanaan
"Unfolded Images: notes about printmaking in contemporaneity" by Maristela Salvatori
"The Iconography of Dürer's Rhinoceros" by Francisco Marshall
"Rare Animals in Art: imagination and reality" by Maria Amélia Bulhões.

Includes the catalogues of the different exhibitions held in Brazil, Poland, Portugal and South Africa in 2014. The South African exhibition was held at the Michaelis School of Fine Art, University of Cape Town, and curated by Fritha Langerman. Artists included Stephen Inggs, Virginia MacKenny, Katherine Bull and Fritha Langerman.
