Herman Wasserman is Professor of Journalism and Director of the Centre for Information Integrity at Stellenbosch University. He has published two collections of short stories, Verdwaal and Aan die ander kant van die stad. Waterman is his debut poetry collection. His non-fiction titles include Tabloid Journalism in South Africa; Media, Geopolitics, and Power; Media, Conflict and Democracy in Africa and Disinformation in the Global South (co-edited with Dani Madrid-Morales).
