Memoir by Englishman Treive Nicholas.
In 1980, when he was nineteen years old, Nicholas spent eight months teaching art, science and sport at Ikhwezi Lokusa Special School, a Catholic mission school and rehabilitation centre run by the Sisters of the Precious Blood in Umtata in the former Bantustan of Transkei. He revisited the area in February 2020.
