Naz Gool-Ebrahim was the niece of Cissie Gool and wrote about the destruction of District Six in the 1960s and 1970s. She died in 2005. Selections from a manuscript that Naz Gool-Ebrahim had begun writing in the late 1970s and her oral testimony, as recorded by Brenneis in 1988 in San Francisco.
