South African actress and writer Buhle Ngaba co-founded the NPO KaMatla to aid the development of the arts in poor communities and to develop the legacy of storytelling amongst the youth. She won Best Production and Best Upcoming Artist for her first play, The Swan Song, at the 2017 Kana South African Theatre Awards.
