Hugh Bland grew up in Zimbabwe and currently lives in Durban. He is the author of New Beginnings, repurposed homes of KwaZulu-Natal; The Trappist Missions - KwaZulu-Natal's forgotten treasure and Addington Children's Hospital and Nurses' Home, and took the photographs for Farmhouses of Old Nataledited by Jacqueline Kalley.
