Beverly Joubert is  a photographer, National Geographic Explorer, filmmaker and wildlife conservationist. She and her filmmaker husband, Dereck Joubert, have explored Africa for over 40 years, with a focus on conserving large predators. Together they have authored 14 books, and produced more than 40 films, for which they have won 9 Emmys. They live in Botswana and Kenya.
