Nigerian journalist and writer Abubakar Adam Ibrahim is a Gabriel Garcia Marquez Fellow (2013) and a Civitella Ranieri Fellow (2015). He is the author of a collection short stories, The Whispering Trees. Season of Crimson Blossoms is his debut novel.
