Biography of South African professional rugby player Demetri Catrakilis (b. 1989). Catrakilis started his career with the Lions, played for Western Province and the Stormers from 2011 to 2015, with a season at the Kings in 2013. Between 2015 and 2019 he spent two seasons each at Montpellier in France and Harlequins in England before returning to the Kings. Catrakilis is a two-time Currie Cup winner with Western Province and was part of the Montpellier squad that won the European Challenge Cup in 2015. He retired in 2020.
