Biography of South African professional footballer Junior Khanye, who currently works as a player-coach for Malanti Chiefs in the Swazi Premier League.

Born in 1985 in Daveyton, Khanye was scouted to Kaizer Chiefs when he was seventeen-years-old. Famous for his dribbling and goal-scoring skills, he won a record 10 Man Of The Match awards in his first 10 games. After two seasons he was released because of ill-discipline.

"He crushed his dream only to resurrect himself. What a man, and what a book!." Robert Marawa, sports journalist

Nikolaos Kirkinis is the author of The Curse of Teko Modise and Strike a Rock - the Thembi Kgatlana story.
