Jacques Bezuidenhout lectures Physics in the Faculty of Military Science (Military Academy), University of Stellenbosch, and is currently appointed as a commander in the South African Navy.

Hennie Smit teaches Military Geography in the Faculty of Military Science (Military Academy), University of Stellenbosch, holds the rank of commander in the South African Navy and is currently President of the International Association for Military Geosciences.
