Journalist Paul Moorcraft lived in Rhodesia and Zimbabwe from 1976 to 1981 and covered the war for Time magazine. He was Visiting Professor at Cardiff University's School of Journalism, Media and Cultural Studies and Director of the Centre for Foreign Policy Analysis in London. His other books include "The Rhodesian War, a military history, fifty years on", "African Nemesis: war and revolution in southern Africa, 1945-2010" and "A Short Thousand Years: the end of Rhodesia's rebellion".
