B Camminga (*they) is a post-doctoral fellow at the African Centre for Migration and Society, University of the Witwatersrand, and the author of Transgender Refugees and the Imagined South Africa: Bodies over Borders and Borders over Bodies.

zethu Matebeni is an African Humanities Program Fellow, author of Reclaiming African: Queer Perspectives on Sexual and Gender Identities, co-editor of Queer in Africa: LGBTQI Identities, Citizenship and Activism, and curator of the Queer Tour in Cape Town. In June 2019 zethu joined the Department of Anthropology and Sociology at the University of the Western Cape.
