zethu Matebeni is an African Humanities Program Fellow, author of Reclaiming African: Queer Perspectives on Sexual and Gender Identities, co-editor of Queer in Africa: LGBTQI Identities, Citizenship and Activism, and curator of the Queer Tour in Cape Town. In June 2019 zethu joined the Department of Anthropology and Sociology at the University of the Western Cape.
