Anton Joubert is a retired electronic engineer who digitises and retouches historical photographs and rare documents. Ten years ago he was asked to gather all possible photographs of Jan Smuts for the library of the University of Pretoria and visited archives and museums around the country to find images. Currently, he is a volunteer at the Smuts House Museum in Irene and digitalises their photo collection and documents.
