Jane Alexander's Infirmary, Erf 81 (Cape of Good Hope) was made possible by the Claire and Edoardo Villa Will Trust's 'Extraordinary Award for Sculpture in South Africa'. It records Alexander's site-specific installation of the same title through essays by invited authors. Infirmary was installed in a former military storage unit at Erf 81 in Tamboerskloof, Cape Town, for one week in January 2020.

Jane Alexander is Professor at the Michaelis School of Fine art at the University of Cape Town.
