Willem Luyt is Professor in the College of Law at the University of South Africa. 

Hennie Bruyns is Deputy Director (Associate Professor): Criminal Justice with specialisation in Correctional Management at the Namibia University of Science and Technology. Prior to entering academia in 1994, he worked in the Department of Correctional Services.

Nicolien du Preez is Chair of the Department of Corrections Management at the University of South Africa. 

Johan Jonker is an academic in the School of Criminal Justice: College of Law at the University of South Africa. 

Thabiso Matshaba is Associate Professor in Corrections Management,  in the College of Law and the School of Criminal Justice at the University of South Africa. 

Stefan Schulz is Deputy Director (Academic) in the Department of Social Sciences at the Namibia University of Science and Technology, where he co-ordinates the Bachelor of Criminal Justice Honours programme. Before joining academia in 1998 he worked as a public prosecutor and district judge in Rostock, Germany.
