Foreword by Reuel Khoza.

Drawing on stories from South Africa – a country shaped by uncertainty, inequality and profound difference - We Lead offers practices that help people think together, stay in relationship, share responsibility, and act with collective courage to shape a future that none of us can build alone.

From the peaceful transition from apartheid to the success of the Springboks, the Ndlovu Youth Choir, Eskom’s turnaround, and partnerships across business, government, schools and communities, the chapters in this book demonstrate what becomes possible when leadership is shared.

Dr Louise van Rhyn is a social entrepreneur and leadership and organisational development practitioner. She is the founder of Partners for Possibility, the leadership development and nation-building initiative that brought more than 3 600 business leaders and school principals together to strengthen schools and communities across South Africa and was selected as one of six WISE Award winners globally.

Thembalethu Seyisi is a South African lawyer, author and social justice advocate. He is head of Law Reform, Advocacy and Institutional Partnerships at Stellenbosch University’s Centre for Social Justice, and was named one of the BPM Global 100 Leading Black Professionals.
