When she was 15 years old Grace fell pregnant and, under pressure from her parents, gave her first born away. Unable to forgive her parents, she cut them off and went on to create a new life for herself. Now a wife, mother to twin daughters and the owner of a successful medical clinic, her estranged mother's sudden re-appearance threatens to destroy everything.

"Grace is the perfect title for this beautiful, bruising novel. Unigwe writes with a rare steadiness of gaze." Lisa Harding

"Explores daunting agonies, their brutal consequences and their redemptive power with great stoicism, insight and yes, grace." Shobha Rao
