Margaret Roberts received a Laureate Award from Pretoria University for being one of the first organic farmers in South Africa. She established the Herbal Centre at De Wildt and has published more than 40 books.

Sandy Roberts, Margaret's daughter, has worked alongside her mother at the Herbal Centre for the over 3 decades.
