Mia Swart is Research Director of the Democracy and Governance Unit at the Human Sciences Research Council. She is currently a Visiting Professor at the University of the Witwatersrand.
Ylva Rodny-Gumede is Professor in the School of Communication and the Head of the Division for Internationalisation at the University of Johannesburg. She is also Senior Associate Researcher with the Stanhope Centre for International Communications policy Research at the London School of Economics.
