Paulo Nazareth was born in 1977 in Governador Valadares, Brazil, and lives and works throughout the world. He won the Mercedes-Benz Award by MASP de Artes Visuais, São Paulo, Brazil (2012) as well as the 12th Salão Nacional de Arte de Itajaí, Brazil, and the 28th Salão de Arte de Bolsa da Pampulha in Belo Horizonte, Brazil (2005).
