Felicia was born in Lard Yao women's prison in Bangkok after her mother, Vanessa Goosen, was imprisoned in 1994 for smuggling drugs out of Thailand. In accordance with Thai law, Felicia was sent back to South Africa when she turned three, and raised by her mother's friends, Melanie and Hilton Holmes. After years of struggling with mental health issues she now works as a counsellor.
