Lyndon Bouah on his years at secondary school and university, his beginnings as a chess player, the various chess events he participated in, the leagues in Cape Town, and his time at the Karpov School of Chess in Sweden, from 1986-2002. He includes 95 of his chess games.
Dr Lyndon Bouah holds the title of Candidate Master in chess. He qualified for the title at the 1992 Word Chess Olympiad. He has competed for South Africa and been captain of the South African Chess Team at various international events over the past 20 years. He is an Advocate of the High Court of South Africa and currently serves as Chief Director of Sport and Recreation in the Department of Cultural Affairs and Sport in the Western Cape Provincial Government.
