A firsthand account of the discovery of Ernest Shackleton’s ship, the Endurance, which sank on 21 November 1915 after being crushed by Antarctic ice. The ship was finally found in March 2022.

Marine archeologist Mensun Bound was Director of Exploration on both the 2019 and 2022 expeditions to locate the Endurance. He was the Triton Fellow in Maritime Archaeology at St. Peter’s College, Oxford University, from 1992 - 2013, and is a trustee of the Falklands Maritime Heritage Trust.
