From 2011 to 2015 South African photographers and conservationists Peter and Beverly Pickford documented the last remaining wilderness areas on earth: Antarctica, Patagonia, Alaska and the Yukon. the Arctic, the Tibetan Plateau, the Kimberley in Australia and Namibia’s Skeleton Coast.

Peter and Beverly Pickford are the authors and photographers of the companion photographic book Wild Land. Their other books include Forever Africa, journey from the Cape of Good Hope to Morocco; The Miracle Rivers, the Okavango & the Chobe of Botswana and Southern African Birds of Prey (text by Warwick Tarboton).
