He founded of the world’s first African dining hall, Alkebulan in Dubai, which opened in October 2021. His most recent book is Meals, Music & Muses: Recipes from my African American kitchen. He lives in New York City.

Ghanaian-American entrepreneur, writer, and inclusion strategist Nina Oduro is the CEO and co-founder of Dine Diaspora, a Washington-based company that connects people and brands to African diaspora food culture. She is also the co-founder of Black Women in Food. Her writing has been featured in Food & Wine, Cuisine Noir magazine, Black Enterprise magazine and The Africa Report.
