South African photographer David Goldblatt's books include South Africa: The Structure of Things Then; In Boksburg; Some Afrikaners Photographed; On the Mines and Lifetimes: Under Apartheid (both with Nadine Gordimer); The Transported of KwaNdebele: A South African odyssey (with Brenda Goldblatt and Phillip van Niekerk) and Some Afrikaners Revisited. He died in June 2018.
