A one person play adapted from the novel Mother to Mother by Sindiwe Magona, which is based on the death of American Fulbright scholar Amy Biehl, killed by a group of young men in Guguletu, Cape Town, in 1993.

The original performance, directed by Janice Honeyman and performed by Thembi Mtshali-Jones, was produced by the Baxter Theatre in 2009.

Sindiwe Magona is the author of two autobiographical books, To My Children's Children and Forced to Grow, two collections of short stories, Living, Loving and Lying Awake at Night and Push-Push and Other Stories and the novels, Beauty's Gift and When the Village Sleeps.
