Harry Turner (b. 1935) served as a Second Lieutenant in the First Battalion of the Middlesex Regiment from 1953 to 1955. He was Managing Director of Television South West (1985-1992) and a director of ITN Independent Television News (1987-1992). He has published books on Nelson's navy, the Peninsular War, the Battle of Waterloo and the Crimean War.
