Funeral service and insurance provider AVBOB sponsors an online poetry competition, open to speakers of all 11 of South Africa's official languages. Volume 2 includes 44 poems drawn from the first- to- fourth-place competition winners in each language category, five especially commissioned poems in each language category, and two poems from one of the Khoisan languages. Where necessary the poems are accompanied by an English translation.
