Anti-apartheid activist Modisegaarekwe Phekonyane was arrested in 1977 for his involvement in student uprisings in Bloemfontein. After his release he completed a BA degree at the University of the Free State and currently works as a guide on Robben Island. He is the author of  Love thy Neighbour, Love Thyself.
