Raes Mohammed's account of his pursuit of Islamic knowledge, particularly the time he spent studying in Tarim, Yemen.

Raes Mohammed left school at the age of 11 to memorise the holy Qur'an. He began at Jami'ah al-Qur'a, completed his memorisation at An-Nur Islamic Educational Centre and became a Hafiz. He resumed Islamic studies there, before leaving for Tarim to complete the Arabic programme. He is currently a sworn translator of the High Court of South Africa, a postgraduate student at Henley Business School Africa, and a Strategic Account Director at Technology Strategy Corporation.
