Hennie Nortjé is the author of the poetry collection In die Skadu van Soveel Bonte which won the 2013 Ingrid Jonker Prize and the Eugène Marais Prize. He was born in 1956 in George and lives in Stellenbosch, where he works as a medical doctor.
