Nerine Dorman is the author of the YA novel Sing Down the Stars (2019 Sanlam prize for Youth Literature and the 2021 Percy Fitzpatrick Award for Children's and Youth Literature), the YA novella Dragon Forged, and the novella The Firebird (2019 Nommo for Best Novella). She is the curator of the South African Horrorfest Bloody Parchment event and short story competition and a founding member of the SFF authors' co-operative Skolion, and lives in Cape Town.
