Spoken word studio album that fuses poetry with music by Koleka Putuma. Only available on vinyl.

Co-produced in collaboration with Clem Carr, composer, saxophonist, pianist, producer and the musical director. Features Jude Kenrick on drums, Chantal Willie-Petersen on bass, and Clem Carr on saxophone, keyboards and synths. Bonj and Rivoningo Nkuna appear as guest vocalists.

Poet, playwright and theatre practitioner Koleka Putuma's debut collection, Collective Amnesia, poems, won the 2018 Glenna Luschei Prize for African Poetry. She is also the author of the poetry collections We Have Everything We Need To Start Again and  Hullo, Bu-bye, Koko, Come in and the theatre works UHM, Woza Sarafina, Mbuzeni and No Easter Sunday for Queers. In 2022 she was awarded the Standard Bank Young Artist Award, a first-time award for poetry. She lives in Cape Town.
