Memoir by Allen Ambor, who  founded Spur Steak Ranches in 1967 and grew it into an empire that included 500 franchises under the Spur, Panarottis, John Dory's and RocoMamas brands. He retired as executive chairman of Spur in March 2019. He lives in Cape Town and is an Iyengar yoga practioner and teacher.
