ALFRED TEMBA QABULA, collected poems

Alfred Themba Qabula was born in Pondoland in 1942, participated in the rebellion, worked on the mines in Carletonville and then in a rubber and tyre factory in Durban. He joined the Culture and Working Life project in 1985 and worked through it with COSATU's cultural structures until 1995. He died in 2002.

This volume includes all the poems that can be attributed to him between 1984 and the end of his life. 

Poet, dramatist and academic Ari Sitas is currently Professor and Head of the Sociology Department at the University of Cape Town.
